Notes
Sergeant Frye was a member of the 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, stationed at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina. On June 20, 1951, he was at a command post on maneuvers at Hickory Point, when two "short rounds" of mortar shells struck the command post killing him.
