Aviation Electronics Technician Third Class Coleman was a member of the 67th Maintenance Squadron, 67th Maintenance and Supply Group. On December 27, 1952, he was a passenger on a transport C-47 (DC-3) owned and operated by the Royal Helena Air Force. As the aircraft departed Chinhae Air Base (K-10) near Haengom-ni, South Korea, it crashed killing all 14 on board. |
